Tucson Clean & Beautiful coordinates and services the City of Tucson/Pima County Recycling Info Line, (520) 791-5000 or email recycle@tucsonaz.gov for program information related to many different local government, business and non-profit organization recycling, re-use and waste reduction programs:
- curbside recycling for the City of Tucson and other areas of Pima County
- recycling dropoff locations
- waste reduction
- materials reuse
- resale/second-hand stores
- household hazardous waste dropoff
- proper medication disposal
- electronics recycling
- plastic bag recycling, and choosing paper or plastic
- reducing unwanted junk mail
- unwanted/expired medication disposal
A phone line operator is generally available to accept or respond to calls during business hours, with basic recorded information and voicemail available to receive a reply to questions.
The Recycling Directory is also available as a reference on the Tucson Clean & Beautiful website and as a downloadable/printable booklet, sorted by category and by name of the business/organization (NOTE: print wisely! - up to 70 pages).
New entries for the Recycling Directory are always being accepted, free of charge. Business owners, nonprofit organization program coordinators, and government agencies may submit a listing request form.
